People and their stories are my greatest inspiration. My interest lies in more than the final photograph. It is the process from making initial contact with my subjects, to the subsequent conversations and meetings, that is the allure of photography for me. The exchange of ideas is an integral and powerful part.
When photographing, I focus on making true-to-nature portraits in which, from my perspective, personality and character are best expressed.
My passion for photography arose in my younger years during my travels. After studying business administration and a previous career working internationally in business, I am now pursuing my true calling once again. In 2015, I started studying photography at the Fotoacademie in Amsterdam. In 2018, I graduated with a focus in my favourite discipline: Portraits.
